How to play

Controls and Mechanics

In Getaway Shootout, players control their character by jumping left or right with two keys and activating items with a third. However, the way the character shakes when moving and the ragdoll physics system make moving a humorous challenge, sometimes causing unexpected falls.

Player 1:

• W: Jump left (hold and release to jump)
• E: Jump right
• R: Use item or weapon

Player 2:

• I: Jump left
• O: Jump right
• P: Use item or weapon

Your Objective

Your goal is to be the first to reach the escape point, which is a helicopter or a door at the end of the map. However, this is not easy when the remaining opponents are ready to use all tricks to stop you in Getaway Shootout.

• Two-player mode: Challenge a friend using shared keyboard controls

Weapons and Characters

On the run, you will encounter a series of weapons and items such as guns, bombs, speed boosters, and shields. These items not only help you attack your opponents but also open up new strategies to overcome obstacles in Getaway Shootout. You can also collect coins to unlock more than 30 different characters, each with a unique style, from humorous to eccentric.
