To start Merge Rot, move your mouse (or swipe on the touchscreen), then click/point to drop items into the box. Each item can be a fun icon, such as a bug, a banana, Cabybarra, a meme character, and so on. When similar objects touch, they automatically merge into a larger or more unique version. Players can drag the object left/right to adjust the position before dropping, or hold on the touchscreen for more precise placement. A click or release of the finger will complete the drop action. All it takes is a mouse or touch and the ability to observe to place it in the right place and activate the chain reaction blend.
Drop strange objects into a container
When two identical objects touch in Merge Rot, they merge into a new object, which is larger and often appears in a more bizarre shape. For example, two capybaras can become a giant banana, which is hilarious. Each merge step discovers new shapes, sometimes so surprising that it makes you laugh. If you keep the excitement and choose the right theme, the latter will become more bizarre. More entertaining merging games: Merge Fruits
After an object is upgraded, if it moves or is pushed into objects of the same level, it can trigger additional chain reactions. A single drop can lead to three or four consecutive merges in a split second. Not only single upgrades, but also continuous merge chains help save space in the box, allowing more items to be dropped. The longer you play, the more advanced and humorous versions you can combine, and the more challenging it is to manage space.
